Mission
The Indian Student Association (ISA) at Saint Peter’s University exists to celebrate and share the
diverse cultural, academic, and social heritage of India with the entire SPU community. Our mission is
to: Foster Cultural Awareness – Promote understanding and appreciation of India’s traditions,
festivals, history, and values. Support Students – Provide academic, social, and networking support to
both Indian-origin and non-Indian students. Collaborate, Not Compete – ISA is not here to compete
with other clubs, but to support them as part of the SPU family. We believe in unity, mutual respect, and
collaboration across all organizations. Promote Jesuit Values – Reflect SPU’s Jesuit mission by
integrating service, inclusivity, and cura personalis (“care for the whole person”) into all our programs.
Enhance Campus Life – Organize cultural programs, community service, and partnerships that enrich
the overall student experience.
