The mission of the intercollegiate athletics program at Saint Peter's University is to provide opportunities which enable student-athletes to reach their full potential in academic and athletic pursuits. Emphasis is placed on learning and on the development of the whole person. Fully integrated into the college experience, the athletics program fosters sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, and ethical and moral conduct among all participants. Through intercollegiate competitions with peer institutions, the students and the College as a whole seek to build community spirit and gain the attention of the public.
Saint Peter's University offers 16 NCAA Division I sports with about 250 student-athletes. Plus cheerleading (which does not compete as an NCAA sport).
Saint Peter's is a founding member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, which began play in 1981-82 and has 10 other full members. Saint Peter's University is also a member of the Eastern College Athletic Conference.

We invite guest speakers from different backgrounds to share their experiences and answers any questions our members may have. In the past, we've hosted judges, FBI agents, lawyers, accountants that pursued law, IRS agents, alumni, and more. You do NOT have to be interested in a law degree to be apart of our Association.

Every year, we host a Women's Empowerment Day. Reminding young aspiring women to strive for the best and that the sky is the limit. Finally, the BLA co-sponsors the Accounting Society Dinner.

Our events enable students to learn more about different fields within law and business, and permits students to enlarge their network. All students are welcomed to our Association!

Membership is open to all students interested in criminal justice, both part-time and full-time students. Members will participate in all programs and activities planned by this association. Any member who cannot attend a meeting, program, or activity must make a diligent effort to notify any Executive Board officer of their absence via e-mail or in writing. Graduate STEM Programs at Saint Peter's UniversityThe Data Science Institute at Saint Peter’s University is training the next generation of Data Science students offering a cutting edge academic program to meet such demands and train the next generation of data scientists. The Institute works closely with industry thought leaders to bring innovative ideas to market.

The Data Science program integrates scientific methods from statistics, computer science and data-based business management to extract knowledge from data and drive decision making. The Economics and Finance Association at Saint Peter's University aims to provide economic and financial experience through a series of educational resources such as inviting speakers, attending conferences, going on field trips, and organizing other events to develop a critical mindset in current international economic and financial matters. Each semester we arrange different activities that promote a better and more real understanding of Economics, Finance, and other social sciences.

As an association, we create opportunities for students to explore Economics and Finance outside the traditional classroom. Health Services is a nurse-directed college health facility. We offer first aid, acute illness care, and routine health and nutrition assessments. A physician’s assistant is available one day a week to examine, diagnose and treat students in cases of acute illness. Resource and education materials are available upon request. When appropriate, referrals are made to outside agencies, a list of these medical agencies/clinics are made available to the students when necessary.

LINDA serves to facilitate the change of direction in the life path of women who are victims of domestic violence, for women who are re-entering post-incarceration life, and for women whose lives have been impacted by homelessness, mental illness, and the violence of human trafficking. We collect and distribute new and gently used cosmetics, toiletries, and other necessary items that may be financially out of reach for women whose lives have been temporarily disrupted by some aspect of criminal justice. We prepare women by offering workshops that address gaps in both their job-seeking skills and life management. LINDA seeks to address the needs of the whole woman, considering societal pressures and personal pride, in order to turn their lives from the path of distress to the path of success.

Our mission is to connect, inspire, and motivate the gaming community of Saint Peter's University. Above all, we want our Gaming Club to be a safe space for all where like-minded friends can meet and refine or learn new skills on games they love. As a Gaming Club, our aim is to celebrate and share the love of gaming amongst each other and to other people on campus by streaming our competitions or casual games. Whether the students are new to games or have been playing them all their life, all are welcome.

Since 2004, Saint Peter’s University proudly maintains NGO status at the United Nations through the UN’s Department of Public Information (DPI). In conjunction with associated NGO’s, DPI seeks to reach the world at large in order to help people better understand the aims and work of the United Nations. The DPI/NGO holds Weekly Briefings on topics relevant to the United Nations and associated NGOs. The Briefings consist of video screenings and panel discussions that are available via webcasts for classroom use and presentations to the Saint Peter’s University community. Additionally, faculty and students may attend live briefings at the UN. Additionally, each year the Guarini Institute at Saint Peter’s University hosts the High School Model UN (SPUHSMUN) and the Harvard Model UN programs.

Students Advocates for Valuing the Earth (formerly called Students Against Violating the Earth) is an environmental club in which we work together to learn more about what's happening in our area and worldwide. S.A.V.E. promotes awareness of environmental issues and tries to do something to reduce the damage to our Earth. We aim to promote the understanding of and action toward threats to the well-being of the environment through club meetings, school- wide projects, or trips and community service that would help students to recognize and appreciate the preciousness of our delicate environment. It is also responsible to encourage and engage in school-wide sustainability and “greening” initiatives. This organization is student run so members decide what we do. The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc - Saint Peter's University Student Chapter shall unite through membership accounting, finance and business related students who have similar interests and ideals, are committed to academic and future professional excellence, possess a sense of professional and civic responsibility, and are concerned with enhancing opportunities for minorities in the accounting, finance and other business related professions. WSPR runs via live-stream on the Saint Peter's website at saintpeters.edu/wspr, making it accessible to anyone who wishes to tune in. We have a large variety of shows ranging from talk and variety shows to music and sports programs, and we are open to any creative ideas from students wishing to express their communication talents or their artistic abilities! Our station not only includes on-air talent, but also promotions personnel, writers, graphic design artists, and other team members with a diverse array of talents.
