The mission of the intercollegiate athletics program at Saint Peter's University is to provide opportunities which enable student-athletes to reach their full potential in academic and athletic pursuits. Emphasis is placed on learning and on the development of the whole person. Fully integrated into the college experience, the athletics program fosters sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, and ethical and moral conduct among all participants. Through intercollegiate competitions with peer institutions, the students and the College as a whole seek to build community spirit and gain the attention of the public.
Saint Peter's University offers 16 NCAA Division I sports with about 250 student-athletes. Plus cheerleading (which does not compete as an NCAA sport).
Saint Peter's is a founding member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, which began play in 1981-82 and has 10 other full members. Saint Peter's University is also a member of the Eastern College Athletic Conference.

The Business Law Association (BLA) exposes its members to the different aspects of business law and introduces them to related professions in that field.

We invite guest speakers from different backgrounds to share their experiences and answers any questions our members may have. In the past, we've hosted judges, FBI agents, lawyers, accountants that pursued law, IRS agents, alumni, and more. You do NOT have to be interested in a law degree to be apart of our Association.

Every year, we host a Women's Empowerment Day. Reminding young aspiring women to strive for the best and that the sky is the limit. Finally, the BLA co-sponsors the Accounting Society Dinner.

Our events enable students to learn more about different fields within law and business, and permits students to enlarge their network. All students are welcomed to our Association!

The Christian Fellowship Club is a God-driven platform for Christian fellowship, made to bring the presence of God into the campus of Saint Peter’s University. Membership is open to all students interested in criminal justice, both part-time and full-time students. Members will participate in all programs and activities planned by this association. Any member who cannot attend a meeting, program, or activity must make a diligent effort to notify any Executive Board officer of their absence via e-mail or in writing. No member will be allowed to miss two consecutive meetings. All members are expected to follow all rules regarding conduct, and no violations will be tolerated by the association.

The Economics and Finance Association at Saint Peter's University aims to provide economic and financial experience through a series of educational resources such as inviting speakers, attending conferences, going on field trips, and organizing other events to develop a critical mindset in current international economic and financial matters. Each semester we arrange different activities that promote a better and more real understanding of Economics, Finance, and other social sciences.

As an association, we create opportunities for students to explore Economics and Finance outside the traditional classroom. We organize events such as a speaker series where we have researchers, businessmen, professors and professionals come to discuss their perspectives and debate on current issues that affect financial markets, politics, and our daily lives. We focus on informing, creating, and writing about economic debates and engaging young aspiring Economists and Financial Analysts in debates that will enhance their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills as professionals.

In addition, we arrange off-campus trips to nearby and far cities where we go visit historical monuments and exhibitions that have shaped Economic Thought.

The Guarini Institute for Government and Leadership at Saint Peter’s University is a non-partisan vehicle that drives public policy discussion of some of the state’s most critical issues. Health Services is a nurse-directed college health facility. We offer first aid, acute illness care, and routine health and nutrition assessments. A physician’s assistant is available one day a week to examine, diagnose and treat students in cases of acute illness. Resource and education materials are available upon request. When appropriate, referrals are made to outside agencies, a list of these medical agencies/clinics are made available to the students when necessary.

LINDA serves to facilitate the change of direction in the life path of women who are victims of domestic violence, for women who are re-entering post-incarceration life, and for women whose lives have been impacted by homelessness, mental illness, and the violence of human trafficking. We collect and distribute new and gently used cosmetics, toiletries, and other necessary items that may be financially out of reach for women whose lives have been temporarily disrupted by some aspect of criminal justice. We prepare women by offering workshops that address gaps in both their job-seeking skills and life management. LINDA seeks to address the needs of the whole woman, considering societal pressures and personal pride, in order to turn their lives from the path of distress to the path of success.

The Mendel Biology Society is a student-run club, open to students from any academic program within Saint Peter's University who are interested in topics relating to biology. The Mendel club strives to hold regular meetings, organizes social and educational activities, schedules special events, and takes part in community service. Every spring, the Biology Department and the Mendel Society organize the Mendel Biology Lecture and Dinner. The Mendel Lecture is the longest-running annual lecture series in the history of Saint Peter's University, and the Mendel Club is one of the oldest clubs!

Since 2004, Saint Peter’s University proudly maintains NGO status at the United Nations through the UN’s Department of Public Information (DPI). In conjunction with associated NGO’s, DPI seeks to reach the world at large in order to help people better understand the aims and work of the United Nations. The DPI/NGO holds Weekly Briefings on topics relevant to the United Nations and associated NGOs. The Briefings consist of video screenings and panel discussions that are available via webcasts for classroom use and presentations to the Saint Peter’s University community. Additionally, faculty and students may attend live briefings at the UN. Additionally, each year the Guarini Institute at Saint Peter’s University hosts the High School Model UN (SPUHSMUN) and the Harvard Model UN programs.

Students Advocates for Valuing the Earth (formerly called Students Against Violating the Earth) is an environmental club in which we work together to learn more about what's happening in our area and worldwide. S.A.V.E. promotes awareness of environmental issues and tries to do something to reduce the damage to our Earth. We discuss topics and tips on how to avoid contributing to environmental problems by working on projects to improve environmental conditions and sustainability on campus. Earth Week is the highlight of our organization where we host many different activities from a clothing swap, recycled art, photo contests, guest speakers, and much more! We participate in other activities throughout the year, including nature trips and movie events. This organization is student run so members decide what we do. Open to all students and majors!
